Altai State University (the city of Barnaul, the south of Western Siberia, Russia) is a federal state budget educational establishment of higher professional education. Altai State University, founded in 1973, became the pioneer of classical education in Altai Region. Today the University is:

ASU is the basic ground of: the Russian-American Anti-Cancer Center, which was created in collaboration with the Arizona State University, 16 innovative Laboratories under the supervision of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the 5th meeting of Ministers of Education of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries in 2014, and the meetings of the Association of Asian Universities, which includes 28 Asian universities (www.aauniv.org).
