The University of Cyberjaya (UoC) boasts over 15 years of excellence in Malaysia’s higher education scene. The university was first established in 2005 as the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS).

Today the University of Cyberjaya holds a 5-Star (Excellent) rating by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education under its SETARA programme. The University was also recently awarded 5-Star rating for Teaching, Facilities, Employability and Inclusiveness under the QS Stars programme produced by the publishers of the QS World University Rankings.

The University currently offers more than 35 programmes including foundation, diploma, degree, masters and doctorate level postgraduate research courses in a wide range of disciplines including medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, cosmetics, psychology, physiotherapy, homeopathic medical sciences, biomedical engineering technology, and business among others.

In terms of academic reputation, the University has been a proud pioneer in the educational field. The University is known regionally for its 5-year medical sciences programme including the postgraduate research programmes. In addition to the Medical Council of Malaysia, the University of Cyberjaya’s medical programme is recognised internationally by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the Maldives Medical & Dental Council (MMDC) and the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. The University’s Faculty of Medicine is also recognised by the World Directory of Medical Schools, an authorities directory recognised by the World Health Organisation and developed in partnership with the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER).

The University’s Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the very few Malaysian pharmacy schools with a Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy and the only Malaysian university offering a Doctor of Pharmacy programme. It’s fully accredited, 4-year undergraduate Pharmacy programme has one of the largest annual enrolment in Malaysia.

In addition, the University is also a partner of choice for the Malaysian Ministry of Health in developing programmes for the complementary and traditional medicine field as the University is the first institution in South East Asia to provide an accredited homeopathic medical sciences degree with has also gained official recognition by the Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH)
