加拿大毕业工签新政：符合条件者可境外上网课，不影响申请毕业工签！

今年以来，疫情影响国际学生的出行，众多学校采取了网上授课。目前部份学校已恢复了面授课程，但仍有众多院校保留网上授课的形式。不少国际学生提出疑问，若采用网上授课的形式，是否会影响毕业后工签时长？对此，加拿大政府做出最新回应！ 
 
 
【加拿大毕业工签新政】
 
 
1、学生从现在到2021年4月30日可以在加拿大境外online学习，只要至少50%的学习时间最终是在加拿大境内完成，就不会影响毕业后工签的时长。（Students may now study online from abroad until April 30, 2021, with no time deducted from the length of a future post-graduation work permit, provided 50% of their program of study is eventually completed in Canada）
 
 
2、开学时间从2020年5月至9月的长度为8-12个月的课程，将被允许完整课程都在加拿大境外完成，同样可以在毕业后申请加拿大毕业工签。（Students who have enrolled in a program that is between 8 and 12 months in length, with a start date from May to September 2020, will be able to complete their entire program online from abroad and still be eligible for a post-graduation work permit.）
 
 
3、online学习从开学时间2020年5月至9月，到2021年4月30日的学生，如果他们完成的是超过1个课程（more than one eligible program），将来可以合并不同课程时长申请毕业工签，只要他们的总学习长度至少50%在加拿大完成。（Students who have enrolled in a program with a start date from May to September 2020 and study online up to April 30, 2021, and who graduate from more than one eligible program of study, may be able to combine the length of their programs of study when they apply for a post-graduation work permit in the future, as long as 50% of their total studies are completed in Canada.）
 
 
重点：要符合以上这些条件，学生必须在2020年春季，夏季或秋季或2021年1月学期开始学习前提交学签申请。所有的学生最终都必须获得学签获批。（To be eligible for these measures, students must have submitted a study permit application before starting a program of study in the spring, summer, or fall 2020 semester, or the January 2021 semester. All students must eventually be approved for a study permit.）
 
 
毕业工签是什么？
 
 
毕业后工签（Post-graduation Work Permit，简称PGWP）是加拿大政府给国际留学生的一种政策优惠，即留学生在加拿大学习中学后课程，可以申请1-3年的毕业后工签。这是一种开放的工作签证，留学生可以为任何雇主工作。
 
对于学校和学习时间政府是有要求的，首先国际留学生要从加拿大政府认可的院校毕业，且在加拿大学习至少8个月以上（语言学习课程除外），在学习2年或以上的课程毕业后，可以获得最多3年工签。

毕业后工签（PGWP）是保证在加拿大各院校毕业的各国留学生在加拿大合法工作的文件证明，是加拿大为留学生提供的一项便利政策。以往，国际学生们申请PGWP必须要满足一定学习时长，并指定要在加拿大境内，网课是不计算在学习时长内。今年受到疫情影响，加拿大采取的特殊政策不断更新，一方面意味着符合条件的同学在境外上网课的这段时间仍然算作在加拿大学习，将能正常申请工签、工签年限不会缩短。另一方面使加拿大的移民政策更加灵活，有效避免在疫情期间，流失任何希望移民加拿大的海外优秀人才。实属为双赢政策！
 
需要注意的是，毕业工签一生只能申请一次，建议同学们提前查看个人学签的有效期是否有足够时间申请毕业工签，预留充足的时间申请，做好规划以防不必要的麻烦。同时，在国内上网课最需要克服的就是时差，同学们务必要调整好个人状态，认真对待网课，积极与学校沟通相关课程安排，准时完成网课课程及网上考试，这些将会成为往后升学的重要依据。
